Dates of assessment: 16 December 2025 until 06 January 2026. Jubilee Court is a residential care home that provides personal and nursing care for up to 75 people, at the time of our assessment there were 68 people living at the home. The home was divided into 4 units, with most people requiring nursing support.
This assessment was prompted due to concerns with infection control and safe transitions between care settings. We found that infection prevention and control measures in place were in line with best practice and a safe process was in place for people transitioning between care settings.
People were supported by staff who were trained to deliver their care in a safe and effective way. Medicines were stored, managed and administered safely. Staff understood how to recognise any potential signs of abuse and knew how to escalate any concerns under safeguarding processes. The registered manager had a good oversight of risks within the home, both those relating to people’s health and wellbeing as well as the risks posed by the environment.
The home had a positive atmosphere led by a kind and caring registered manager. The provider has ensured that local management teams were regularly supported by senior management, which in turn led to good outcomes and high-quality care delivery.
