Our view of the service

The Pemberdeen Laser Cosmetic Surgery Clinic Limited is operated by The Pemberdeen Laser Cosmetic Surgery Clinic Limited (Ltd). The clinic opened in 1985 and was originally registered under a different name to provide regulated activities. The hospital primarily serves patients from London and North Kent, but it also accepts referrals from the wider community. The service provided a range of cosmetic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, liposuction, brachioplasty, and abdominoplasty. When fully operational, approximately 95% of procedures were breast augmentations.

The service did not provide care to NHS-funded patients or to anyone under the age of 18. At the time of this inspection, there was no registered manager in place, and the nominated individual role had not been appointed. Following our inspection of 21 August 2025, we took urgent enforcement action to suspend the registration of the provider until they met the regulations highlighted as being breached in the report. The providers suspension of registration remains in place. We undertook an inspection on 20 November to assess compliance with the regulations.
