During an assessment of Wards for people with learning disabilities or autism
We assessed Richmond House on 03 November 2025 due to an aged rating.
Richmond House is a community hospital for up to 8 people with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability and associated mental health problems. It provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for females with a mild to moderate learning disability. At the time of inspection 5 people were receiving care and treatment.
The service is owned by Priory Healthcare Limited and is one of a number of services they provide throughout the country.
During our last inspection, we found a breach of Regulation 12 HSCA (RA) Regulations 2014 Safe care and treatment, due to concerns about medication administration. These concerns had been addressed and were resolved by the time of this inspection.
