Our view of the service
We carried out an announced, focused inspection on 20 November 2025 to follow up on the findings from our previous assessment on 21 August 2025. An announced inspection means the provider was informed of the date and time of our visit.
At the August 2025 inspection, we rated the provider inadequate overall and took regulatory action to suspend the registration of the provider.
This hospital location has been inspected 23 times since its registration, including inspections under its former name. The most recent inspection on 20 November 2025 was conducted by a lead inspector and a second inspector on site.
At our last inspection, we found there was no registered manager in post and no nominated individual appointed. We were told that a third-party management company previously employed by the service was no longer involved with Pemberdeen Laser Cosmetic Surgery Ltd. and the clinic manager had ceased their involvement with the service.
At this inspection, we found the service still lacked processes for establishing systems to ensure compliance with regulations. Many aspects of the service, such as good governance processes, oversight of staffing used at the service and processes for the safe care and treatment of patients, continued to fall below the minimum standards required. The lack of infrastructure placed patients at risk of harm. We have rated the service inadequate and identified ongoing regulatory breaches.

When we attempted to review feedback from previous patients of The Pemberdeen Laser Cosmetic Surgery Clinic Limited, we could not find reviews under the current name. Instead, we found reviews linked to the clinic’s previous name.
